Everyone's waking up at once, covered in bits of rubble, temporarily without abilities and with a lurking headache. The castle looms around them, irrepressibly gray, huge and silent. The only noises are the people, rustling as they extract themselves from their sarcophagi and look for exits along the arching walkways.

Better take a look around, and see if anyone else knows what's going on.

It's not that you don't have a point, I just... like to have names and faces to go with the baddies I need to pummel. Or more accurately, stand back and occasionally assist in pummeling.

[They're just about to the bottom of the stairs, and Willow's looking around carefully, skeptical that nothing has attacked them yet.]

Oh. I don't usually have names for individual people... [he sounds a little distracted, he peers around the area cautiously, movements changing to something far more stealthy as he doublechecks the area.]

I think I prefer not having that much involvement. [it's a smile that has a few extra layers, this time, before he gestures.] I still don't see anyone I could call an enemy here.

[Wow okay, this guy is clearly not as clueless and derpy as he puts across. Both the words and the actions belie that.]

Not have that much involvement, as in... what? How does that work, exactly? [Usually there's some grandstalking and talking when Willow has to face off against enemies.] Personally, I'm waiting for the spooky monsters. Castle like this, they must be around here somewhere.

Oh, I'm an Assassin. [it's a good thing when he's from, okay? and sure, maybe he shouldn't just admit it, but it seems like there's no Templars here and it doesn't quite occur to him that maybe not everyone will think being an Assassin is a good thing.] It is better not to know your target anymore than you need to, for your own safety.

[he pauses, then considers. monsters? ... monsters? like the kind he always thought might stalk around Masyaf at night, lit up and on fire and waiting for people to let them in?] You believe in monsters?

--An assassin? [She stops short and stares at him, trying to see it and failing. So it kinda fit, a little, but he was so... cheerful, and friendly. Willow was finding it hard to reconcile, though okay, maybe that was shallow of her. But hey, assassin! She was excused!]

Oh, uh, yeah. Monsters. I've seen plenty of monsters in my day, even spoken to most of them. But assassin is... new. Very new.

[Kadar excuses her surprise at just being unused to Assassins in general. that's not unusual at all. Of course, he hardly looks-- or acts-- like an Assassin when he's not actively in battle. And even then...]

Well, that is good! The more we stay in the shadows, the better. No one will see us coming. [he sounds a little less like an Assassin and more like a ninja fanboy.]

What sort of monsters?

[Ninja fanboy is right. Willow officially has no idea what to make of him.] Uh-huh. Somehow you just aren't what I picture when I think assassin. --Which I'm sure is the point, but still, it's a little... funny.

All kinds of monsters. Vampires, ghosts, one particularly memorable hell goddess. The list is too long to recount.

Funny? [Kadar has an expression not unlike a sulk, at that, but it washes off his face relatively quickly.] You simply have not seen an Assassin at work.

A... Goddess? [the concept of vampire is a little beyond him, and while ghosts are more on his level-- a goddess?] From hell? Truly?
