Everyone's waking up at once, covered in bits of rubble, temporarily without abilities and with a lurking headache. The castle looms around them, irrepressibly gray, huge and silent. The only noises are the people, rustling as they extract themselves from their sarcophagi and look for exits along the arching walkways.

Better take a look around, and see if anyone else knows what's going on.

Well, it looks like some kind of pre-Christian mausoleum. [Forever a nerd.] But there's no way anything like this actually exists anymore.

[That earns a short pause. He feels like he's about to learn something significant, here.]

I've met a number of people who used terms that I'm unfamiliar with, and likewise. I assume that 'Fulheim' is an unfamiliar word to you?

Yeah, it is. [A pause as he puts two and two together.]

So all of the people here are from different places?

Stranger things have happened. [Although this comes close to taking the 'strange things' cake.]

And just because it looks this way doesn't mean it's true. I mean, it's sounds crazy, but there's a chance that something like this could be a dream state, or amped up spell.

[Normally he wouldn't jump so quickly to revealing supernatural knowledge, but considering their circumstances, secrecy and guarding people from reality shock don't seem like such big issues right now.]

I find that difficult to accept.

[Not because he doesn't believe magic to be capable of that, but because it doesn't explain how he's here.]
