Everyone's waking up at once, covered in bits of rubble, temporarily without abilities and with a lurking headache. The castle looms around them, irrepressibly gray, huge and silent. The only noises are the people, rustling as they extract themselves from their sarcophagi and look for exits along the arching walkways.

Better take a look around, and see if anyone else knows what's going on.

[those robes--? they're different than the ones Kadar knows, but it's still enough to make him hesitate and look back for a second glance. perhaps a scholar--? he ventures a step closer towards the stranger, moving as lightly as he can.]

[sicarius]

[For a second, Ezio pauses. Then he turns his head and sees who's calling to him, and blinks.

...since when did he know other potential assassins? Well, ones who wore the assassin robe and such.

But he grins slightly, masking his confusion, speaking clearly.]

Ciao, amico. I don't believe I know where I am.

[kaderp]

[Kadar smiles a little and relaxes somewhat. At least he seems to be in relatively friendly company.]

I am no more wiser than you. [he eyes the room for a second.] Did you also wake up in one of-- those? [a gesture at the rubble.]

[sicarius]

Si, I did. It seems like we all are.

[Which is more distressing than comforting.]

[kaderp]

[Kadar nods a little.] I don't understand how I arrived here at all. I was somewhere else moments ago.

[...and then a frown.] Or-- it felt like moments ago.

[sicarius]

[There's a slight nod at this and Ezio is quiet. Nothing makes sense at all, right now.]

It was the same for me, you are not alone in that feeling.

[kaderp]

Do you-- [Kadar hesitates. A theory is forming; has been forming, but he doesn't want it to be true. He can't help but ask, though.]

Do you remember what was happening before you arrived here? If there was -- any indication that... something strange may happen?

[sicarius]

I was at home in the villa. [For right now, he's not going to mention anything regarding Minerva and the Vault and the Templar and... yeah. :|]

As far as I know, nothing was noticeable.

[kaderp]

[Kadar nods, a little uncertainly.] I was... in a dangerous situation. I'm -- I'm still looking for the people I was with. Have you seen anyone else in our robes?

[sicarius]

I have not, unfortunately. I rarely see anyone in anything like what we wear.

[It's true- Machiavelli and the others looked like normal people in every day clothing. You'd never guess they were Assassins.]

[kaderp]

[Kadar deflates a little.] I was afraid of that... well-- if you see someone named Altaïr, please let me know!

[sicarius]

[...Altaïr.

What.

What.

Ezio has to restrain himself from nearly grabbing the poor boy by his robes.]

Did you just say "Altaïr," amico?

[kaderp]

[Kadar takes a cautious step back. The man recognizes the name? That's probably a good thing. At least he doesn't seem to think Kadar is a figment of his imagination, but...]

Yes. Have you seen him already? [there's a hint of hopefulness in his tone. As abrasive as Altaïr is-- and as murky as their recent past has been-- he would like to see the Assassin again.]
