Everyone's waking up at once, covered in bits of rubble, temporarily without abilities and with a lurking headache. The castle looms around them, irrepressibly gray, huge and silent. The only noises are the people, rustling as they extract themselves from their sarcophagi and look for exits along the arching walkways.

Better take a look around, and see if anyone else knows what's going on.

Hey, you alright? [Guess what, Dynos, there's a Desmond standing above you, offering you a hand. He's frowning, looking equal parts concerned and confused.] Looks like we all took a bit of a spill.

[No. No, he's definitely not all right, but he'll just ignore that question and instead look up, though still remaining on his knees (oh, and not taking that hand).]

... It seems that way. Where is this?

No idea. [After a moment, Desmond withdraws his hand.] Just woke up myself.

[Which was for the best, since there was no way Dynos would take it.

He scoffs lightly, before standing up, albeit somewhat shakily. Fatigue, head hurting, body hurting in general because owww fighting—yeah.]

Well, that's certainly not very useful.

Yeah, cause you know a hell of a lot more about this place than I do. [Despite his words, Desmond doesn't sound irritated.] I know it's kind of a wreck, at least.

[He frowns, as lack of irritation or not on Desmond's end, Dynos can't help but be bristled by the remark.

He looks around again, before muttering—more to himself, but still loudly enough to be heard.]

... The afterlife, perhaps?

I sure as hell hope not. [Desmond crosses his arms.] For one, I'd rather not be dead. For another... this is sort of a dull afterlife.

... I was rather hoping there wasn't anything after death.

[Damn it.]

And it seems a bit too early to draw that conclusion just yet.

I don't think there is. [... well, with some Exceptions.] But that should mean there's a way out of here then, right?

Who knows? I assume you haven't left this room at any point.

Nope. Haven't found a door that'll open up.

Then I wouldn't make any assumptions at the moment. Learnng more about this place comes first.

[He's starting to calm down now—starting to think. Which, for now, means trying to put aside his initial thoughts.]

You won't hear me arguing. [He glances around.] Ever seen anything like it?

It appears to be some kind of ancient castle, but I can't say that gives me any idea as to where we are.

Europe? That's about the only place I can think off with ancient castles like this?

... What?

[The confusion and complete lack of recognition on Dynos's face should probably speak for itself.]

Europe? [Desmond spreads his hands.] West of Asia, north of Africa?

[Nope, still nothing.]

... And where exactly in Fulheim is that?

Or this 'Asia' or 'Africa', for that matter.

What the hell is 'Fulheim'?

What do you mean, what's Fulheim? How ignorant are you?

No more than most, considering I've never been to Germany. [Fulheim sounds German, at least.]

[Desmond gets a blank stare for that, which should make it pretty obvious that Dynos doesn't have any idea what he's talking about.]

[Several moments pass before Desmond blinks in surprise.] What, you've never heard of Germany?

... Do I look like I have?

Not really, but that's pretty weird, too.
