Everyone's waking up at once, covered in bits of rubble, temporarily without abilities and with a lurking headache. The castle looms around them, irrepressibly gray, huge and silent. The only noises are the people, rustling as they extract themselves from their sarcophagi and look for exits along the arching walkways.

Better take a look around, and see if anyone else knows what's going on.

[ Iceland has fallen asleep and (subsequently) woken up in some strange places. But nothing like this before. It takes him a second to realize he's trapped which triggers a less than stellar reaction. Although... his panicking and flailing does free him from his sarcophgi, and he gracelessly stumbles out into the room. Now what--

Oh. This is strange. There's strangers milling about in this unfamiliar place that is certaintly not home and... yeah, maybe Iceland will just. Stick close to his former stone prison (or what remains of it, anway). Maybe if he doesn't move no one will see him. Yes surely this plan will work. ]

[ Playing wallflower doesn't work when you're very much alive in comparison to the sarcophagi, Iceland, and with Serge actively seeking out people you're in for a double whammy. Because he's coming over from the side. ]

Hey.

[ It's amazing that Iceland doesn't jump out of his skin at that greeting, though he is a little startled. However, he tries to act like he is totally calm and in control to make up for that. ]

Hello...

[ Hmm, he seems like the reserved or shy fellow. Serge can work with that -- hence the questions. ]

Did you just get out? Sure was stuffy in there, wasn't it?

Yeah, I guess. [ He's not quite sure what to make of Serge. Where did he come from? Did he do this? Why is he dressed like that? Does he want anything?

These questions most likely could get answers if Iceland spoke up more, but. Alas. He glances down and kicks a piece of rubble out of the way instead. He really, really isn't sure about... well, anything right now. ]

[ Definitely not of the talkative sort, but that's hardly enough to deter Serge from making more conversation. It's pointless to ask small questions besides trying to get the boy to open up more, so he dives in for something that might produce more results. ]

Are you alone?

[ Iceland looks around before answering- nope, no familiar faces here. He looks behind him too, as if someone was going to pop up behind him. But there's nothing there, obviously, so he turns his attention back to Serge. ]

Yeah, looks like it.

[ Nodding, Serge gestures to the area with a tip of his head. This place is far too dreary to dwell in for very long. ]

Want to come along, then? I don't know about you, but I'd rather not stay here all day.

I don't know you... I mean, I dunno, I can manage by myself. [ STRANGER DANGER. No, but really, Serge seems nice but Iceland doesn't know what to make of it. That is, if it's genuine or a trick of some sort. ]

Ahh, right. [ If the kid says he can take care of himself, then more power to him. A pause, then he waves. ] Call me Serge. If you ever need help, just let me know. I'll be around.

You say that like we actually have places to go. [ Which makes Iceland wonder if Serge is familiar with this place. More familiar than Iceland is, anyway. ]

But okay, I'll keep that in mind.

If someone put us in here, then there has to be a way out and around.

[ Regardless, he casts Iceland a slight smile. Before he goes -- ] You got a name?

Mmn. [ A fair enough point, but still, he's not so sure about actually being able to get out. ]

Oh, yeah. Um, I'm Iceland. [ Maybe he shouldn't have given out his real name but oh well, what's done is done. ]
