o.1 ;; opeeeen!
[So, Kadar has a room. ...He supposes. The door opened when a bunch of other doors wasn't, and no one else seemed to claim the bed, so he flopped uselessly onto the bed for awhile to sleep. The next morning he noticed what he hadn't the night previous: a weird... thing.
Which he had then dismantled in complete bafflement. What was it? It came apart in different pieces, but that didn't make anymore sense. It wasn't a weapon, it wasn't food, it wasn't... maybe it was something from the future? Like-- Sofia and Desmond.
Kadar had gathered up the pieces, gone out and sat down in one of the chairs, staring at it with clear bafflement. What the heck?
...he considers for a moment, then quickly starts flicking the pieces back and forth on the table. this is kind of fun!]
[[ooc: feel free to bug him in the living quarters or in his room, if you're a roommate! whichever!]]

I'm starting to warm up to the idea of speaking with others here but still--I'll warn you again to keep your head about you, brother. Do not trust so readily. [He knew the boys heart was filled with a warmth and kindness that he would never be able to pull so easily to the surface like the younger could but still--it was refreshing if not a little concerning.]
I think that we would be fools to think that this was of random design. There is something deeper below the surface. Always.
oh god am i repeating myself, i'm so bad at this
I had wondered, though, brother-- [he hesitates a little.] The timing, for myself-- is it possible that our arrival here has something to do with the... [he lowers his face, glancing again at the door.] ...the object we were sent to retrieve?
no you are beautiful hush
These memories are not something he enjoys and the phantom limb he is forced to live with twitches in reply, his heart clenching knowing full well that back home his brother is gone.]
The object was retrieved but the time I come from is a decent block of time after. Perhaps it could be the case, but if there were I would imagine there might be more here from our world.

It seems there are quite a few from our world, if not-- our time. [Ezio, Sofia, Desmond-- they are all from the same world, but spread out through time...] I don't remember much... after you left, but there didn't seem to be any signs of... the object interfering. [he mostly just remembers everything going kind of black, and then waking up in the sarcophagus.]

If the others are who they say they are then they will provide usefulness in their knowledge of our order and other things. It's good you've come to know them.

I am glad they will be of help! They seemed to want to be of assistance. [...well, Sofia did. Ezio was stuck in surprise mode and Desmond thought he was hallucinating.] When you get back-- think of all the extra knowledge you will have.
["you", singular. but Kadar has faith that his brother, at least, will get back.]

[He uttered quietly and arched a brow.] We don't even know if we will return home--keep that in mind as we also don't know if we are able to return how it will effect the future, if the knowledge will stay.
This is all unnatural, brother.

It's perturbing, to think that someone would know about us. I find your fascinating with it a bit disturbing but I can understand how it would be of some help to us--not that I am curious of knowing much about the future.

You should not get so attached to false hope.

My being here at all seems as though it should be merely false hope, brother.

[Malik paused and took in a sharp breath before looking back at him, eyes meeting his own.] Never mind, it does not matter. I should be on my way.

Safety and peace, brother.
