o.1 ;; opeeeen!

[So, Kadar has a room. ...He supposes. The door opened when a bunch of other doors wasn't, and no one else seemed to claim the bed, so he flopped uselessly onto the bed for awhile to sleep. The next morning he noticed what he hadn't the night previous: a weird... thing.

Which he had then dismantled in complete bafflement. What was it? It came apart in different pieces, but that didn't make anymore sense. It wasn't a weapon, it wasn't food, it wasn't... maybe it was something from the future? Like-- Sofia and Desmond.

Kadar had gathered up the pieces, gone out and sat down in one of the chairs, staring at it with clear bafflement. What the heck?

...he considers for a moment, then quickly starts flicking the pieces back and forth on the table. this is kind of fun!]

As you've stated. [Came the reply before he placed the pieces down upon the table where they came from before. Eyeing them with a small wrinkle of his brow before pulling out the device he had found on his person and setting it down aside the objects.]

I'm starting to warm up to the idea of speaking with others here but still--I'll warn you again to keep your head about you, brother. Do not trust so readily. [He knew the boys heart was filled with a warmth and kindness that he would never be able to pull so easily to the surface like the younger could but still--it was refreshing if not a little concerning.]

I think that we would be fools to think that this was of random design. There is something deeper below the surface. Always.

no you are beautiful hush

Then you will be wise. [He gives the other the smallest of smiles as he looks over the device in his hands before setting it upon the table to dismiss it, not knowing what it happens to be and at the moment it is not his primary concern. At the others next question though he pauses before remaining quiet for a moment.

These memories are not something he enjoys and the phantom limb he is forced to live with twitches in reply, his heart clenching knowing full well that back home his brother is gone.]

The object was retrieved but the time I come from is a decent block of time after. Perhaps it could be the case, but if there were I would imagine there might be more here from our world.

I am almost certain it has nothing to do with the object. [He exhales quietly, looking to the other for a moment before drawing his gaze away and out to the rest of the room, his brows knitted together. He didn't like the memories, the way the conversation brought them up.]

If the others are who they say they are then they will provide usefulness in their knowledge of our order and other things. It's good you've come to know them.
dai: (⁾ well it'd be easier I know)

[The others smile throws him off-guard and he can't seem to look at him too often, his gaze often travels when the other is around and it's because the logic would persist that he had gone mad and was seeing the spirit of his brother, who he knew was very much dead back where they came from. Still--he tried his best to keep his attention on the other even if his eyes were not on his face.] Then we should let them prove themselves helpful--let's not get too excited, Kadar.

[He uttered quietly and arched a brow.] We don't even know if we will return home--keep that in mind as we also don't know if we are able to return how it will effect the future, if the knowledge will stay.

This is all unnatural, brother.

Your absence as well as mine. [Came the quick reply as he looked to the other, moving to take a seat down on a ledge nearby with a quiet exhale.]

It's perturbing, to think that someone would know about us. I find your fascinating with it a bit disturbing but I can understand how it would be of some help to us--not that I am curious of knowing much about the future.

What do you mean by that? [He uttered as he looked to the other before moving to stand.]

[His brows narrow slightly, it brought him all back to the fact he didn't want to be here--he wanted to be home in reality even though Kadar was here, even though it was a blessing he was needed at home..] But this is not our world and therefore not our history.

You should not get so attached to false hope.

[He can't look at the other at the moment--he can't keep eyes on him because right now he's still conflicting with the annoyance of the mental reality of it all and what is standing before him. To say that he had not seen the other after his death in his dreams would be a lie but to be here and palatable, it was still hard to comprehend.] Kadar, you being here--

[Malik paused and took in a sharp breath before looking back at him, eyes meeting his own.] Never mind, it does not matter. I should be on my way.

[It was hard enough as it was dealing with seeing the other again, it was painful nearly, it hurt because he knew back home this is not what was waiting for him and while he should be enjoying it now, it didn't matter--right now his head was a mess. With a glance over his shoulder he nodded towards the other before walking out of the room.] To you as well.
