The Night Fury found himself a present! It's just what he wanted, too! His old saddle. The leather even still smells like Berk. He's happy to have a piece of home. But he's also happy to finally have something that can be used to help him find a rider. Flying alone is no fun.

In all his joy, the large dragon is running through the halls, bouncing and leaping over obstacles and approaching fellow dwellers, saddle in his jaws, eyes wide as he begs for a flight partner.

Indulge the silly lizard?

As if responding to a name, the Night Fury came to a halt, ears rising and head turning towards Danny. Big green eyes scanned the area before falling on him. Toothless' ears fell down again and he whined.

Still, it was better than nothing, even if it wasn't Hiccup. He purred around the saddle and approached him, bouncing lightly on his feet.

Maybe this guy would help?

Danny floats up into the air and drifts over to get a better look at Toothless. And the saddle.

"You... want me to do something with that?"

Toothless was NOT expecting that. Humans don't fly. Dragons fly! Because of their wings. Humans don't have wings!

The dragon jumped back, feet splayed and teeth bared, ready to attack if this... floaty human made any attempts of his own.

Pupils narrowed and wings on defensive display, Toothless let out a deep growl around the saddle still held securely in his mouth.

Danny rolls his eyes and backs up. "What? Never seen a ghost before?"

Ghost? What's a ghost? What ever it was, it sounded slimy and gross and it was not something he wanted to try. If anything, he'd probably carefully pick his fish away from it and eat around it.

As for this guy, who knew what was wrong with him? He didn't smell, look, nor do what normal humans did. A warning growl sounded in the back of his throat as he backed away.

Anything that flew without wings was never a good thing, as far as Toothless was concerned.

Danny looks on in confusion as the reptile thing growls and backs away.

It wasn't entirely Danny's fault. Toothless had never seen floating humans or anything that looked like a human that could float.

When he was sure he was a safe distance away, the dragon turned his back on the ghost, though his ears were perked as he continued his search.

Danny. Right there in the courtyard. Harth stood aways away from him before approaching him and the dragon. Extraordinary creature, but not one that's easily to gain mastery over is it?

Not like a demon. Not like a ghost.

"He's scared of you."

Danny rolls his eyes. "No kidding."
