Heero was hunched over a table, a dissembled pistol lay in pieces on top of the table in the common area. There wasn't much light to work by, given the time of day he was working, but he knew the mechanics of a gun like the back of his hand. Fixing the jam would be no problem and it needed a good cleaning anyway.
It had been days since the last time Heero had slept. With the nightmares and things everyone were experiencing, he wasn't going to take a chance and be forced to go through the same. Nightmares drawn up from memories were the last thing he wanted to experience, especially since he was now sharing a room with two other people. For the time being he flat out refused to sleep, using every bit of his training to stay awake and finding things to do. Exploring, tinkering with a pistol, training, and other things. However, it was getting to the point that pretty soon he was going to have to nod off for a bit. He couldn't keep going at this rate.
Occasionally he stopped, lifting his head and looking around the common room for other people. After being attacked and having Duo nearly try to kill him, he was on a heightened guard. No one was awake, but that didn't mean the shadows wouldn't come back for him. Hell, maybe his attacker would like to go for a second try with him.
((ooc: It's the middle of the night and Heero is busy maintaining a weapon. Feel free to sit with and bother him.))

The poor room mates. Between Quatre's hair-trigger reflex to wake up at the slightest of movements, and Ratchet's great big catch-every-noise-you-make ears, Toph was positive she was really annoying to both of them. Instead of tossing and turning, trying to get back to sleep, she decided to head out and let them rest and maybe try to fall asleep at a table or something.
The darkness wasn't even an issue for Toph. She fetched herself a drink of water and made it over to the tables without incident. She paused, lifting her head. She'd noticed Heero around, maybe once or twice. Beyond that, he was there a few nights prior when Duo had his break down. She hadn't really had a chance to talk to him, despite being in a slough of mutual friends.
With that thought in mind, she approached him. She could sense something on the table when she touched it, so when she sat, she made sure to leave him enough play room and sat her cup at the end, just in front of her.
"Hi," she greeted after a moment of silence. "So I'm not the only one having trouble sleeping."

But he was patient. He was cool headed, more so than any of his primitive peons. However, the smell of Heero, the smell of his flesh and blood? He yearned for another taste, but not yet. He'd have to find someone else to take advantage of.
Instead, he sat at the table across from the boy who was not much older than he was when he was turned.

"Hey." It'd been a couple days since the incident in question. Nearly a week now. He folded his arms in front of them and leaned against them. Was he even in the mood to talk? Accept his company?
"That's one of mine, huh? How's it handle?"

He spotted the human and recognized him as one of Duo's friends, specifically the one who helped him when he was trapped in the sarcophagus. What was he doing up?
"Hey. Can't sleep?"
