seventeenth: (for ▲ those days)

[Desmond thinks he's getting the hang of the castle. On and off, all day, he's been alternating between lounging around the living area and badgering people to come explore the castle with him -- not very far, of course, but just enough to get a proper feel for the place. He wants to go back to the tower. He wants to check the sarcophagus room to see if anyone else showed up. He wants to see what's waiting on the other side of the dorms. He wants to climb all over ancient, crumbling architecture for the hell of it.]

[It'll probably get annoying for everyone else, after a while, but for now Desmond is enjoying himself.]

(ooc: An open 'get bugged by Desmond' post. I can come up with a reason for hm to approach and chatter at literally anyone! If there's a specific area you want your character to go to just say so in the subject line/an ooc note, or write the tag with them already in that part of the castle.)

[He was not so foolish as to move in any way to injure the other--at least at the moment. There were far more important things to concern himself with at the moment. Still, at the worry he gave a huff of breath and turned away.] One can hardly blame you.

It's not exactly the best situation to believe in the reality.

[He paused and looked at the other, narrowing his eyes slightly before taking a few steps forward to continue his work even in the others company. Kadar was a subject he liked to speak of--it made him remember better times instead of the sour taste his death left behind.] He is very kind, mildly gullible but smart.

I would beg you to please keep that in mind, he's still very much a child.

[He notes that the other is on his heels but says nothing about it nor does he take the time to look over his shoulder and acknowledge him in any manner--he simply continues his task as he speaks. Kadar is a comfortable and uncomfortable subject all at once, so he fluctuates.] Everyone is a child at some point in time.

We grow at our own pace.
