[Desmond thinks he's getting the hang of the castle. On and off, all day, he's been alternating between lounging around the living area and badgering people to come explore the castle with him -- not very far, of course, but just enough to get a proper feel for the place. He wants to go back to the tower. He wants to check the sarcophagus room to see if anyone else showed up. He wants to see what's waiting on the other side of the dorms. He wants to climb all over ancient, crumbling architecture for the hell of it.]

[It'll probably get annoying for everyone else, after a while, but for now Desmond is enjoying himself.]

(ooc: An open 'get bugged by Desmond' post. I can come up with a reason for hm to approach and chatter at literally anyone! If there's a specific area you want your character to go to just say so in the subject line/an ooc note, or write the tag with them already in that part of the castle.)

[Desmond, too, is staring at the recently moved statues, looking flabbergasted.]

.... no, no really. [Cautiously, he edges forward to peer through the door.]

[sagacity]

[Serge steps right into the just opened space, though not far enough that he's on the other side. He looks around, moving his head to the left, then the right, before facing Desmond with a grin.]

I don't know what just happened, but I hope you're up for an exploration.

[seventeenth]

[Never let anyone say Desmond isn't one for exploration. He grins at the offer and immediately nods.] You don't have to ask twice.

[And that said, he scoots forward further, trying to look everywhere at once. So interesting!]

[He comes forward after Desmond, shortly after which the statues slide shut, keeping them on this side. Well, there should be ways to circumvent this sudden blockade, so he's hardly fussed as he addresses his only other companion for the time being.]

Looks like we don't even have a choice in the matter anymore. So, where to?

[seventeenth]

[Desmond frowns a little, stepping forward. The bridge they find themselves on is huge and treacherous and not exactly easy to navigate, he'd guess.]

Well. Can you climb at all?

[sagacity]

[Leaning on one foot, he shoots Desmond an all too casual look.]

Depends. What kind of climbing are we talking about?

[seventeenth]

The kind where you have to hope that none of the bricks are loose. [He gestures at the bridge.] Looks like a high-risk venture to me.

[sagacity]

. . . better than a no-risk venture, if you ask me. [As for the climbing -- ] But it's not like I can complain when there's probably no other way.

[seventeenth]

It doesn't look like there's anything too difficult. [Desmond peers ahead and takes a few steps forward.] More jumping than anything, really.

[sagacity]

[Serge follows one or two steps, then shrugs.]
