[Stein's sitting on the floor leaning up against a wall, putting pressure on the join of his neck and shoulder, which has a lovely set of dental records marked in it that one might be able to see through his fingers and the blood slowly leaking out between them, though he seems to be completely unperturbed about the significantly higher amount of blood coming out of his midsection. But really he looks pretty good for someone who should probably be either passed out or dead based on the amount of blood all over him!

He glances around a few times, like he's looking for someone.]

I'll say this much, senpai, Asura certainly works quickly. I'm almost impressed by his work ethic. [Oh and now he's talking to himself, that's always such a good sign.] It's a little shameful that the worst I can come up with is a gigantic castle, though. Maybe the hallucinations start off slow... Spirit? [He pauses, like he's waiting for an answer, and then sighs.] Alright, I guess I can't hear you while I'm stuck in this, so just grab me when my students come back this way if I haven't snapped out of it by then.

[...Maybe someone should be the barer of bad news.]

[Well, Dynos is fairly unconcerned about the whole bleeding bit, because he's a jerk like that.

The babbling catches his attention, however.]

[Blinkblink. Stein just stares for a little bit, and then turns like he's talking to someone else again.]

And now one of my hallucinations is talking to me. He looks a bit like that cat you're so infatuated with; I'll tell him you said hello.

[Looking back at Dynos now.] My weapon says 'hi'.

[angsts]

A cat?

[He. Doesn't even know what to say to that.

Instead, he'll just sigh, running a hand through his hair.]

I see we have a lunatic here...

[Stein cackles briefly before hitting the back of his head against the wall]

A lunatic... Even my own hallucinations think I'm crazy. That must be some kind of new record.

"Um, sir? Are you okay?"

Danny was more than a little concerned. Because bleeding like that anywhere? Was definitely not good.

"Sir? How polite!" He moves his hand away from the bite on his neck and smiles. It wasn't very often Stein got such a nice hallucination. "I've been worse. The recovery time for this," he tapped the side of the screw in his head a few times, "was far worse than this, I'll bet."

"All the same you should probably get some bandages or something. I mean, I'm no expert. But I'm pretty sure that being covered with that much blood is usually a bad thing."

He fidgets slightly as he talked, not noticing as he bobs slightly in the air or the faint glow he is casting on the dark hallway.

"Not all of it's mine." The smile on his face looks a little off to say the least. "Though some sutures would probably do me more good than a bandage. I can keep my blood from flowing too quickly so it's not a problem at this point."

He finally actually takes a good look at Danny. The glowing Stein was almost used to; being able to see souls meant he usually saw people with some manner of glow. The floating, on the other hand, was new to him. And hallucinating or not, he was curious. "Have you always been able to float?"

Maybe later, after he has met some people, and he's just wounded? IDEK XD;

Uhm, can I help you? You're bleeding quite a bit...

[Polite or not, she tried to take a closer look at the wounds to see how bad they were. That was a lot of blood, and she really didn't want to see random people dying!]

I'm not too worried about the bleeding; I just wish I could see my shoulder a bit better. There's no chance you know the difference between how a venomous snake bite look compared to a non-venomous one, is there?

[He moves his hand away from his shoulder to let her look and. Really it doesn't look that much like a snake bite. It looks like he got gnawed on by a human with some fangs, sure, but definitely too big for a snake.

...And thankfully it didn't look like he was poisoned either.]

Oh, no, I'm sorry. I think I picked up enough to bandage someone's wounds, but that's about it. I didn't know snakes could be poisonous.

Are there such snakes here...? And do snake bites even look like this? I didn't know they had this many teeth.

Snakes can be generally divided into two categories: Venomous and non-venomous; the non-venomous ones have to suffocate their pray before eating it, but the venomous kind can just bite their victim and wait. [Don't mind the mini-lecture; he's a teacher.]

But if it is poisonous, then the skin should look discolored, there should be some swelling, and the skin around the bite should be necrotising. ...There should also be pain, but I think I've got that one covered.

And I don't really know what it looks like, though I wouldn't be shocked if it looks different; a humanoid mouth tends to have more teeth.

[A small furry creature walks up to the good doctor with a raised eyebrow. Those wounds do not look good at all...]

Are you alright, sir?

[And suddenly, it's like Stein got his second wind and isn't bleeding all over everything. Enjoy the creepy face Ratchet.]

Um...A Lombax. Guess you've never seen one. Are you human? And aren't you...dying?

[Looks at those wounds again.]

Can't say I've ever even heard of a Lombax. [He stops staring at Ratchet creepily to glance down at the wound on his abdomen.] But don't worry, I don't think I'm dying. I have survived worse.

[volcanic]

[ Iceland could hear someone talking, and, lo and behold, there's a perso--- oh no bleeding everywhere. This is cause for a shock once Iceland gets close enough to see that oh yes that's blood. But he manages to scoot a little closer so he doesn't have to speak too loudly. ]

H-hey, were you attacked by a monster?

[Stein quirks an eyebrow and laughs sardonically.] Depends on your definition of monster, I suppose. Though I would definitely argue that she's a monster.

[volcanic]

[ The laughter unnerves him a little, but not enough to cause him to flee or show more nervousness (than he already is). ] 'She'...? I mean the shadowy things that lurk around here.

[Hi, you rang for a bearer of bad news? How's one peering down from his perch on top of a ledge, hood up and in place as he considers Stein.]

It's not a hallucination. [calmly, a little cheerfully.]

[Stein looks up at him, and gives the screw in his head a few turns until it clicks into place.]

It's funny you say that, because that's exactly the sort of thing a hallucination would say.

[Woah, the bugger's been sliced up bad, hasn't he? Sollux pauses for a moment as he comes around the corner, then trots closer and hesitates again. The smell of blood is strong, and honestly he has no fucking clue what you do with a dying person other than put them somewhere where they won't stink up the place later]

Are you...okay?

[Boy, that was probably the dumbest thing he could have said. Good job, Captor]

Never better. I just woke up bleeding in a sarcophagus and had to haul myself around a castle for about a half a mile by myself until I could find a place to sit down and hope that I'm just hallucinating all this - never foresaw thinking that - and that at some point soon I would get someone to drag me the rest of the way home before people start asking stupid questions. [He's more pissy than hurt though.]

The real question is are you okay. You seem to have some very sharp pieces of candy corn coming out of your skull.
