03 - Locked to
herotherhalf and
stillshinigami
That morning after checking in with Duo, he decided to make his way to the crane. Now that they had decided to do something about Harth, he took it upon himself to look about the castle and see if there was some suitable place to use as containment. Duo had pointed out that they couldn't kill the vampire, not unless they wanted him to return as a shadow, so restraining him seemed to be the best option available to them. If it could be farther away from the other residents, the better. After what happened to Toph and Haku, they couldn't run the chance of anyone else getting close enough to him to get hurt.
By the time it was noon he finally arrived to the old bridge. It was raining, the first time since arriving to the Castle, and it was in heavy sheets that completely soaked everything. The walkway was nothing but one huge puddle and once glance up at the sky told him it wasn't going to stop anytime soon. There was no choice but to cross then.
Heero ran across the old bridge, trying to shorten the amount of time spent in the rain, to make his way to the Pigeon Room. Unfortunately the rain was so heavy he was completely soaked by the time he crossed and ended back inside. It wasn't really much better in here either. A hole in the ceiling allowed some of the water to blow in, making things damp and just a little unpleasant.

Nobody behind him he moves in at a blinding speed, his hand aiming to grab Heero by the head and bring him down into the ground. This fight was going to have to be quick.

Before he could move to retaliate, he found himself knocked down to the floor. Super-human speed and strength. Wonderful. The moment he was able to react, he tried to throw a well-aimed punch into Harth's face.

"This is the start of something beautiful, Heero." That, followed by a whip crack of a punch.
"You'll thank me later."

Heero tried to buck the vampire off of him. Whatever Harth was planning, he wad trying his damnedest to prevent.

This time however, her drank until Heero was dumb from the bloodloss, weary and fattigued. When he sensed how close he was to death he brought his wrist to his mouth and cut into it, pressing the now leaking wrist to Heero's mouth.
"Drink deep, Heero. Come on now. Can't die yet."

The first bit of blood in his mouth made him slightly more aware, having an urge to taste more of it. Hesitantly he sucked at Harth's wrist before he became more comfortable with it. He weakly grabbed at Harth's arm and held it firm against his mouth, drinking deeply and trying to get as much as possible.

So...he was going to be a shadow? And what would happen to him then? Heh. He drew back from the boy and stood watching the shadow form.

"This way." He said, leaning down and picking up the younger boy, heading over to one of the doors in the far side of the room. He wretched open the door and disappeared behind it. Nobody was going to look for him here.

Worst of all, he was hungry and they weren't doing anything. He needed to do something.
no subject
"How do you feel? Hurt? Hungry? More alive than you ever felt?" He askes, his hand sliding down to Heero's shoulder.
no subject
The touch to his shoulder drew his attention back onto Harth and he looked up at him. "I'm hungry."

"There is a limit to our food supply here, there being so few among us. Your job is simple. Capture the two Duo's and bring them here. You can do whatever you like so long as you leave them alive. Otherwise, I'll teach you the healing spell you'll need to replenish their blood after you feed from them. You get carried away and kill them? It's your responsibility to hunt their shadows down and bring them back to the fountain. Understood?" It would be simple for Heero to pull off of course. And with Heero independent with his food their situation will be much easier to deal with.
"Avoid Toph until I cast a glamor on you. That'll shield you from her detection for a time. Give you a heart beat."

"What's the circle for?" He looked at it for a moment, trying to figure out just what it could be used for.

"You want to produce an effect you have to offer something in exchange. Life force equal to what you want. Repeat what I say." He places the flower on top of the bleeding wound.
"Old ones, take this; my offering. Life from Earth to mend the flesh and restore strength." It wasn't english, not the words, but that was roughly the english translation. He spoke slow and methodical so that Heero could memorize the words.
"You'll need to find more living things to restore the blood to the boys so you can feed from them continuously. Use the pigeons and birds. They're plentiful enough."

"Old ones, take this; my offering. Life from Earth to mend the flesh and restore strength." He repeated once Harth finished, making sure all his words were accurate and watched closely as the skin on his hand healed completely, the flower withered away to nothing. He clenched his hand a few times, flexing the newly healed skin and looked quite satisfied.

He was proud of this one, more than any before.
"Go. Do whatever is necessary."

The smile on Harth's face made him smile himself, just a bit. He hadn't done a single thing yet, besides the spell, and already his sire was so happy.
He left the circle and then the room all together, back into the Pigeon Room before heading back towards the common one.
