So he's feeling better, that's pretty clear by the fact that he's goofing off in the courtyard. With his exploring track record? Getting assaulted near every time he's gone out to look about? He'd made a point to stick around for a while until he had completely recovered before doing anything, but now he was fed and feeling stir crazy. So there he was. Out in the court yard taking a spin on his hover boots. They shorted out plenty but they did what they were designed to do. Faster, higher jumps? When they worked it was great and he was having some fun, yelling out for the sheer joy of it.

"Hah!" He said as he jumped over a length of the pond with ease and continued on. He looked back to marvel at the distance he'd jumped, not really paying any mind to what was in front of him.

"Ha ha. I've got insomnia. What's your problem?"

[stillshinigami]

"You know, we got a medical kit. It's got sleeping pills." Could work? Yes? No? Maybe?

That is the face of a not interested Lombax. "No thanks. Not a fan of sleep aids. Give me weird dreams."

[stillshinigami]

"Y'wanna go take a nap?" He gestured back towards the residential area.

[last_lombax]

"Depends. Do you want us both to go take a nap or you just going to lay me down and run off?" Sorry Duo, he's pretty sure you're as stubborn as he is.

[stillshinigami]

"Right under that tree." Duo said, gesturing over to it. It was shadey and nice.

C'mon.

[last_lombax]

Ratchet thought about it for a moment. "Sure. I guess it couldn't hurt."

[stillshinigami]

Duo walked over and slid down against the tree onto the grass below, plucking a piece of long seeded grass to play with for a bit.

"It can't hurt. It's a nice day." If a little humid.

[last_lombax]

Ratchet followed and laid down. He closed his eyes and let out a sigh. It really wasn't all that bad.

"I guess not. It's nice and warm out."

[stillshinigami]

Duo yawned once again, louder this time before settling in the bed of grass. "If we weren't trapped here? I might actually enjoy this place. I mean, some parts are alright."

He settled down, looking up at the sun rays coming through the tree branches and closed his eyes.

"I feel you there..." Though his was different. If he wasn't dead he'd probably enjoy being here more, trapped or not. It was just another adventure, or it would be then. Stupid emotions.

"At least the place keeps itself interesting, right?"

[stillshinigami]

"Interesting. Yeah. I guess." Duo shrugged a little. "I think a little rest'll do us good, Ratch. Let's just pretend for a few minutes like nothing's wrong with this world. That's all I wanna do."

[last_lombax]

"Rest would be nice." The Lombax closed his eyes and moved his arm up over his eyes. He let out a long slow breath and just let the sensations of lying in the grass register in his body. "I'll try to ignore all that stuff for a while."

"Best you do that." Make him feel better. Maybe even about living. There had to be something that would make things easier for the both of them.

"If my insomnia wouldn't keep me up I could probably sleep better. But no, it keeps me up most nights. And then I'm busy during the day so less sleep then too..." Oh wait. Was that a yawn? Yep, yep it was.

[stillshinigami]

"Then you need to sleep during the day. Y'wanna take regular naps? I would not mind taking one every single day." See the grin on his face? He loved that idea. He put his hands behind his back and let out one more yawn.

"Let's do that."

"Naps everyday? Sure." The Lombax focused on relaxing his body and mind. He just needed to let it go for right now and let the sleep take him.
