[You know that weird guy who dresses a little like a priest? Well, he's relaxing-- after a fashion. He's walking around what he can explore without a partner, which isn't terribly much, but it's more than satisfying for the moment.

He doesn't stray too far from the living area-- there's someone he's waiting for, after a fashion, and he intends to be relatively easy to find. It does mean, of course, that you might stumble across him on your way to or from somewhere. He'll offer you a polite nod and a smile, and he's amiable to conversation.]

[He moves into the halls for some air-- exploring for the day isn't really in the question with the attack that occurred earlier. Hood up, he walks with a relatively mild pace, keeping an eye out for any possible dangers.

In fact, he's so caught up with trying to make sure it's fine that he almost doesn't notice the stranger. His pace slows, he looks to the other.]

Waiting for someone?

[oversmiling]

Not as such. [yes, but he won't offer that information up so freely. He smiles at Altaïr; the smile of someone who is keeping his secrets well -- a snake and a killer.] Wasting time, perhaps. [another lie, though perhaps less inaccurate.]

[foolnornovice]

[It may be the smile that has him uneasy, but regardless, he is always guarded around those unfamiliar. He raises a brow to him.]

You have a lot of it to waste, if that is the case. Why do so today?

[oversmiling]

[to boot, he has that unsettling fake eye that means his gaze is practically designed to resonate uneasiness. It's part of the reason he's never gotten a more realistic one-- this one is preferable in both the reaction and the fact that you can see it at a glance. A sacrifice is hardly a sacrifice if it is so easily replaced.]

I found there was little else to draw my attention.

[Things are never as black and white as this one would hope. For it he keeps steady, nods slowly.]

Not even exploring the fortress grounds?

[oversmiling]

I have done that every day since I arrived. All things should come with pause.

That seems like quite an amiable distraction.

Hm. [This tone will say otherwise, but he stays.]

What is your name?

[oversmiling]

I am Seishirou. And you?

[foolnornovice]

[He expected that question but still he isn't that keen on giving it away. The response is through gritted teeth.]

It would be in bad taste to ask and then not do the same onto you, correct?
