[Open] .2nd Fantasy Impromptu.

There would be a new sound in the castle this morning. A certain recent arrival had managed to make her first wish at the fountain, and gotten it the very next day, much to her joy.

So out in the room just past the old bridge, the lyrical strains of an acoustic guitar could be heard, followed by a voice singing in Japanese to the bubbly song.

Join? Interrupt? Listen from a distance?

"Ooh, so a bit like the country I'm from." Cordelia replied, a cheerful tone in her voice. "Do you still have castles where you're from? Do you have kings, or queens? Is is it one of these republics I keep hearing about?"

She really didn't know how big Tokyo truly was, after all.

"Oh, Japan is a republic. Japan hasn't had an emperor in many, many centuries," Haku explained. "There are many old structures from those days still standing, though."

[eldritch_princess]

"Oh, I see. Most people come from places like that, it seems. The place I am from is mostly ruled by kings, I suppose that makes me the odd one out."

"Is this place giving you trouble...more than just being spirited away itself, I mean?"

She mostly wondered if she should offer some help. Not that she could do much, but she could try!

"Ouh... then this must be very different for you," Haku said thoughtfully.

"Mm? Uhm... no. Well... there's the shadows that tried to bother a friend of mine and myself on my first day, but I haven't seen them in a while. Why?"

[eldritch_princess]

"It is mostly different, and only a bit hard to get used to, but I can manage that." Cordelia said, trying to be uplifting.

"I just wondered, that is all. I haven't seen you before, so I wasn't sure how long you had been here. This place is somewhat difficult to get used to as a new arrival, I believe."

[sakedrinking]

"O-oh... uhm... I've been here a little over a week, according to my calender..." Haku explained, "Though I don't know if time moves the same here as it did back home. The hardest thing to get used to is the lack of electricity here..."

[eldritch_princess]

"Elec-tricity? That is for the elec-tronical devices you use...right?"

It had been explained to her before, but she was still getting the hang of it. She was currently thinking of electricity as a form of lightning-based magic. That helped a bit.

"Uhm, maybe someone can build a generator for that sort of thing later on?"

It did suck somewhat to be compeltely ignorant about technology.

"Maybe..." Haku said quietly, going to pull on the small bits of white hair that framed her face a little.

"... I actually am electronic. I'm an android," she added after a bit of a pause.

[eldritch_princess]

"So...you're like a golem?" Cordelia said, sounding surprised. "Or more like a thunder elemental? I've never seen one like you! I mean, many can speak, but most don't look as pretty as you!"

[sakedrinking]

"A golem?"

She had read about those on the internet once before. Some sort of mythical creature that probably was the closest thing to what modern day androids were.

The comment about being pretty made her blush, but she nodded.

"That's... a very simplified way of saying what I am, yes."
