The hit brought about something that would likely be entirely unexpected. As opposed to a heart beat, or a gasp or a grunt, a... click.
Just a click. A loud one, but that was it. The sound even came off as slightly protesting in response, and was followed by a very faint whirring noise. Like the low hum of a lamp, or some other low-powered device.
Again, no movement came from the doll-like person, but her eyes did open slightly, red orbs staring blankly in to space with no focus but no glaze to indicate death.
While outside she looked as unresponsive as ever, inside a complex series of operations were slowly bringing her back to the waking world. Commands initiated and diagnostics were run, checking for damage that would prevent her from working in proper order. And once those were finished, she spoke.
"... owww..."
