Wander jumped at the voice, withdrawing from his current searching to face the source. The source however, was certainly no creature he'd ever seen before, and that just made him even more confused and surprised.

It seemed capable of human speech, but his hand still lingered back, ready to pull his bow out if it turned out to be a threat.
