By the time he'd approached her, Toph was sitting up, her feet flat against the grassy ground. She'd felt more than heard the foot steps and ... it confused her. She'd never felt anything like that before, except maybe once back home in the forest with some stalking creature.

That being the case, she was quite interested in what was coming her way.
