The chuckle was weak, but there was humor in it as well as a small smile over his shoulder.

"Sorry... guess all the stone here is kinda weak. Might wanna make a note of that yourself," he said, sitting up on his knees and pointing down. "There's tracks down there. No idea where they lead or if there's anything on 'em, but I haven't heard a train or anything yet."
