The newly formed shadow was a little confused to say the least. In the back of his mind, there was the small inkling of what he used to to be. But the rest of his mind was focused on serving the Queen and dragging other poor souls into the portals. There was the vampire behind him, watching him carefully and doing nothing else. He really should have gone after him, drag him down and force him back into one of the sarcophagi. However, because of the confusion, the shadow just ended up wandering out of the room to join the rest of the shadows, leaving Harth alone with what once used to be his body. The other shadows would make sense of this.
