Oh jeeze...
[ While not exactly a new arrival, Cecille has, for the first time in a few days, gone out wandering since leaving her catacomb. Not that she can get far without a partner, but still. This is a confusing position she's in, and she's only trying to make sense of all this. But in honesty, all this searching and uncovering only led to more questions, further confusion, and the faint suspicion she did an extremely bad thing.
But, she can't focus on that thought for too long, or she'll get serious, which is not the most comfortable feeling for Cecille. With a sneeze, she reels backwards, backing into a wall, releasing a new wave of dust into the air around her. ]
This place seriously needs a make-over! [ She huffs, crossing her arms over her chest, before something catches her eye.
A green statue. The only real hint of color she's seen since she woke up here.
With the faintest bit of hesitance, she steps towards it, a good while away, but still within viewing distance. As the distance between herself and the statue closes, she can feel her heart thumping louder--and for what? What's even there to be nervous about? Heroes never get scared! Stubbornly, she stomps the rest of her way there, showing her resilience, as well as her childishness.
Once in its presence, she knows better than to touch it, so she simply stares, eyes wide and curious, questions filling her mind on meaning and logic and reasoning. ]
Whoa... cool!
( ooc: Cecille hasn't quite found her phone just yet, so she's just wandering about the living spaces -- not going anywhere until someone else comes along, of course! She can meet up with anyone anywhere, so around the spring, by the statues, or just walking around is perfectly okay! )

... He's not sure whether he wants it to be her or not.
—But it is. And so, when he sees her, he freezes.]

And that's pretty much all she can do. Stare. Looking for some sort of conformation that it's him--but really, the silence is enough.
It's him. It's definitely him. Her younger brother, her dear friend, her... victim.
He's alive. ]

And she knows Dynos is dead--she's not nearly twisted enough to imagine that. He's dead, he's definitely dead. She killed him. But he's...
... here?
There's a hesitant step forward, but that's as far as she moves. She wants to go run and hug him, apologize a thousand times over and over and over again and ask for forgiveness and pray he isn't too terribly mad that yeah, she only ended his life a little bit. Even though it was to protect him... all she ever wanted was to give him a happy life. That's it.
But she doesn't move. Because this is Dynos and she can't be like that with him. Even if he's her brother... there are boundaries. Lines she won't cross in order in ensure his comfort, despite how desperately in need of a hug she is. ]

[1/3]
His life, for the past few years, has been defined by anger and bitterness. Smugness on the side, but the sense of utter hatred towards the world tended to overwhelm everything else, ever since then.
Why did their dad try to kill him? Why wasn't Dynos good enough?
Because he was too soft?
In that case, he'd become cruel (and are you proud of me now, Dad—).
But it still wasn't enough. He couldn't protect anyone. He couldn't accomplish anything. He couldn't even turn into a Feldragon.
Though perhaps it's because of that that he's not as disappointed about his failure as he might've been. He was damned from the start, after all. He was never going to get a happy ending.
So really, he shouldn't have expected anything more.]
[2/4] oops
... And she was the loved one. Even though she thought she was the expendable, Dynos knows that it was only ever him. Though their dad might not have necessarily loved her either, she was certainly his favourite. Why else would he have tried to use Dynos as a sacrifice, and not her?
—Not that Dynos would've wished that on her. As much as he wishes that it didn't happen to him (because the scene keeps replaying itself over and over in his head and he just wants to forget)... he can't bring himself to truly think that it would've been better if it'd been Cecille.
Because, although he may resent her, she's still his twin. She's still his sister.
It'd been easy enough to ignore any sentimentality while they were enemies, but now...]
[3/4]
He can take a guess as to how Cecille feels, though. It has to be a shock, seeing him again. Upset, too.
There's a barrier between them, he knows. He isn't the brother she once knew. That Dynos is dead. Whether he died the day their father tried to kill him or the day Ms. Rafil died, it doesn't matter. He's long gone, and Dynos doesn't know how to bring him back.
He can't go back to those days of blissful ignorance. He's aware now—all too aware of how utterly worthless his existence really is.
And now, the sight of him must be making Cecille miserable. It seeems that now, all he can do is make his sister upset.
Things would've been better if he'd just died like he was supposed to.]
[4/4]
... Cecille.
[1/3]
Well. If she did that, she wouldn't be Cecille anymore.
Because even if Dynos wouldn't push the pain on her, she'd gladly accept it, if that meant a peaceful life for her twin. ]
... I feel like I'm missing something here. [ She lets out what she can of a laugh, even though she wants nothing more than to cry her eyes out. She's the older sister... she needs to be brave a strong for Dynos. She's the hero... so she needs to protect him from all threats.
Ha. Kind of fucked that one up, huh..? ]
[2/3]
He's grown up so much, while Cecille was asleep. He's... a man now, and there's something close to pessimism when she thinks about waking later and missing his bridge to adulthood. There's hate when she thinks about leaving him with their father. And there's pain when she thinks about giving him this life that he never deserved.
She's a bad sister.
And while she's looking at him, she locks onto his arm.
Something's not quite ri— ]
Dynos! [ She gasps. ] Your dragon ge—!
[hi kids]
-- if it isn't Minimal Lady! I was wondering if you'd show up.
[ That's just one more proof that not everyone's dead, isn't it? Serge can "live" with the possible fact that he may have died and that that's why he's with Dynos. But there's no way he can accept that for Cecille.
Energetic, violent, childishly cunning Cecille, in all her shocked glory, presumably upon seeing her deceased brother. All Serge can do is lighten up the mood while approaching the two from Cecille's side, hands perched on his hips. ]
What a family reunion.
[get out]
... Just another reminder of his fate.]
Serge—!
[His presence makes things unbearably awkward for Dynos, as the urge to run rises.
Ha... and here he thought he'd outgrown the 'run away and cry' stage. Apparently, his child self isn't quite as dead as he thought.]
[ get along, children ]
[ Cecille's half and half between "yay Serge/friend" and "oh god can I kill him please?". She huffs loudly at once, crossing her arms over her chest, and tapping her foot impatiently on the ground. Dynos could be in serious danger here, and SErge pops in like nothing happened.
She gives Dynos a look that says "we aren't done here". But lovingly. Because there's a genuine concern for his well being, masked underneath the irritation of having Serge pounce in, uninvited.
Dropping her arms into little fists at her sides. ]
And whaddya mean, "minimal"?!
[yes, be nice to me. and SErge.]
You know, I'm not that old.
[ Anyway. Putting that minimal question aside. As much as the nature of his entrance would beg to say otherwise, Serge isn't as bad with reading the situation as most chalk him up to be. He can do an adequate job of it, which is precisely why he's interrupting.
Can't let the children have their imagination run wild lest it lead to disastrous consequences. ]
When'd she get here, Dynos?
[I laughed.]
And so, he crosses his arms and looks away.]
As if I know. Why don't you ask her?

[She's not quite close enough to trigger the door opening, but that's probably about to happen in just a few moments...]
[ never talking to either of you again. ]
I got here a few days ago. Like two.
[ There's a pause for an instant, before Cecille decides she should be less irritated and more happy about her situation. I mean, Serge is here, so she isn't completely alone. And Dynos is here, which means he isn't dead. Win win, kind of? ]
... What about you two?

[ Cecille nods vigorously, leaning in a bit closer to catch a glimpse of the finer details on the statue. Not like she's knowledgeable in this light, but it's a stone unlike anything she's ever seen. Though, there was one that was green... jade, she thinks? ]
Although, still weird. It seems so... misplaced.
[what no Jan is the one being mean.]
Two, huh?
[ And they missed each other all this time? ]
We've been here a little longer than that.
[what no Jae is.]
[Still not looking in anyone's direction because this is awkward beyond words. At the very least, he's afraid that if he meets Cecille in the eye, they'll have to talk—and he feels that he's said enough already.]

[She's taking a few more steps, intending to join Cecille in staring at it up close, but the action causes the doors to activate. Lightning sparks over them, and the four statues shudder, two shifting to either side with a groan.
Willow squeaks and jumps back, eyes flying wide.]
